An inductive analog sensor monitors a gear in order to determine the rotation speed. The varied spacing between gear teeth and gaps generate an impulse that is recorded and analyzed by our system. With the help of known variables, such as the transmission ratio and number of teeth, it is thus possible to produce a relatively accurate estimate of the rotation speed. Using this measuring system enhances quality by preventing the installation of inappropriate (wrong transmission ratio) or defective (missing tooth) parts.
Function Test Solenoid Valve
A pressure and voltage sensor ensures the functionality of a solenoid valve. An increase in the control voltage causes the valve to open and the outlet pressure to increase. The characteristic curves of the two sensors are compared in order to determine the inertia and tolerance of the installed valves. Faulty parts can thus be identified and excluded.
