The operation of the systems has been considerably simplified by the software solution.
PG Austria’s production facility in Kapfenberg is an important location for the manufacturing of designer and decorative radiators in round and flat tube format. Markets throughout Europe – from Germany to Poland and Hungary – are supplied from here.
A key concern was to further increase efficiency and flexibility in production. The solution: the integration of autfactory, our production optimization software.
Walter Haas, Plant Manager in Kapfenberg, decided to introduce autfactory in order to further advance the digitalization of the company.
The aim was to store target data and actual data and to digitalize the employees’ knowledge so that this information could be accessed at any time.
The biggest challenge during the project was seamlessly connecting the software to PG Austria’s existing ERP system. Together with AUTFORCE, a customized solution was developed: a special interface via the database that enables smooth communication between the systems.
The introduction of our production optimization software brought numerous advantages for the production facility in Kapfenberg.

Digitalization has significantly reduced administrative tasks on the systems, which has led to greater efficiency.
A decisive advantage for Walter Haas was the increased system availability. As many of the systems are already somewhat older, it was of the utmost importance to maximize the uptime of the machines.
The software has further increased the stability of the systems, and the company now has a solution which, thanks to its open interfaces and flexible user interface, can also be easily adapted and expanded in the future.
The integration of autfactory has proven to be a great success for PG Austria. The increased efficiency, higher system availability and flexible customization options of the software offer considerable added value for the Kapfenberg site.
